Start with the formulation system

Lycotique supplies three white tomato ingredient formats: freeze-dried powder, extract oil and water-dispersible starch beadlets. Format selection starts with the finished product’s dry, oil-phase or water-dispersible system. It is separate from choosing a total carotenoid concentration.

Compare the production pathways

Freeze-dried powder is made by freeze-drying and milling specially cultivated white tomatoes. Extract oil is obtained through organic-solvent or supercritical CO₂ extraction. Starch beadlets add starch-carrier microencapsulation and spray drying after extraction. The route identifies processing, not comparative efficacy or absorption.

Select a grade, then validate the formula

For dry blends, tablets and hard capsules, evaluate direct powder or an appropriate beadlet grade. For softgels and oil phases, evaluate extract oil. For beverages and gummies, evaluate starch beadlets and the carrier system. Water-dispersible does not guarantee complete dissolution or a clear beverage. Validate mixing, temperature exposure and storage in the actual formulation.
