Policy definition
What does this privacy policy cover?
A privacy policy is a notice that explains who handles personal information, why it is used and which choices are available. This HETCHYN policy covers 3 connected stages: visits to phytofluene.com; requests for product documents, samples or quotations; and the business correspondence that follows. The current website does not intentionally use analytics or advertising cookies, does not build advertising profiles, and does not submit inquiry-form entries to a HETCHYN website database. Information reaches HETCHYN only when a user sends the prepared email or otherwise shares the copied request.

Questions and answers
Privacy questions about using this B2B website.
These short answers summarize the current policy. The full sections below explain purposes, legal bases, transfers, retention and applicable rights.
01Does the inquiry form save my entries in a website database?
No. The form prepares an email or copies request text on your device. HETCHYN receives the information only after you send the email or otherwise share the copied text.
02Does this website use advertising or analytics trackers?
The current website does not intentionally deploy analytics cookies, advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or similar behavioural-advertising technology. Hosting and security providers may still process ordinary connection and diagnostic logs.
03What business information may HETCHYN receive?
A business inquiry may include contact details, company, market, application, product family or code, potency, estimated volume, required documents, messages and later transaction or relationship records.
04How can I make a privacy request?
Email info@hetchyn.com with the subject Privacy rights request, identify the relevant business relationship or email address and describe the right you want to exercise. HETCHYN may request information needed to verify identity and authority.
Who controls your information
HETCHYN Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (“HETCHYN”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is responsible for the personal information described in this policy when it decides why and how that information is used. HETCHYN is located in Zhejiang, China and operates this website as a business-to-business ingredient information and inquiry platform.
This policy covers website visits, requests for specifications or certificates, sample and quotation inquiries, and the business correspondence that follows. It does not replace a separate notice that may be provided for employees, suppliers, distributors, clinical participants or other relationships.
Information we collect
Information you choose to provide
When you contact us, you may provide:
- business contact details, including your email address, company name and optional telephone or WhatsApp number;
- your market, application, product family, SKU, potency, estimated volume and technical requirements;
- documents you request, such as a Product Specification, representative COA, SDS / MSDS or certification copy;
- messages, attachments and other information included in later correspondence; and
- transaction and relationship records if an inquiry develops into sampling, qualification, a quotation or an order.
How the inquiry form works
The form builds an email in your browser. Selecting “Prepare inquiry draft” creates a draft for review. Selecting “Open email draft” opens your email application; selecting “Copy draft” copies the draft to your device clipboard. HETCHYN receives the information only after you send the email or otherwise share the copied text. Your browser, operating system, email provider and HETCHYN's business email provider may process that information independently.
Technical information
Like most hosted websites, our hosting and security infrastructure may process limited request and diagnostic data, such as an IP address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, date and time, general location derived from an IP address, and error or security events. We use this information to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Information we do not ask for
Please do not send health records, government identifiers, financial account credentials, passwords, or other sensitive personal information through the inquiry form. The website is intended for business representatives and is not directed to children.
How and why we use information
We use personal information only when we have a business purpose and, where applicable, a valid legal basis.
| Purpose | Information | GDPR / UK GDPR basis, where applicable |
|---|---|---|
| Answer an inquiry and recommend a suitable starting grade | Contact and project information | Steps requested before a contract; legitimate interests in responding to B2B inquiries |
| Provide documents, samples, quotations and order support | Contact, qualification, transaction and correspondence records | Pre-contract steps; contract performance; legitimate interests |
| Manage customer, distributor and supplier relationships | Business contacts and relationship history | Contract performance; legitimate interests in operating and improving our business |
| Meet quality, tax, accounting, sanctions, export, product-safety and legal duties | Identity, company, transaction and compliance records | Legal obligation; legitimate interests in compliance and legal claims |
| Operate, secure and diagnose the website and systems | Limited technical and security data | Legitimate interests in reliable and secure services |
| Send marketing communications, if we introduce them | Business contact details and preferences | Consent where required; otherwise legitimate interests subject to applicable direct-marketing rules |
Providing an email address, company name and inquiry details is voluntary, but we may be unable to answer or prepare a quotation without them. We do not currently use personal information from this website for solely automated decisions or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Cookies and website technology
This version of the website does not intentionally deploy analytics cookies, advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or similar technology for behavioural advertising. It also does not create a website account or store inquiry-form entries in local storage or a HETCHYN website database.
Hosting, network and security providers may still process ordinary connection logs needed to deliver and protect the site. If we later add non-essential analytics, advertising or other storage-and-access technology, we will update this policy and provide any notice, consent control or opt-out mechanism required by EU ePrivacy rules, UK PECR and applicable US state law before using it.
Sharing and international transfers
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:
- authorised HETCHYN sales, quality, regulatory, technical, finance and management personnel;
- hosting, email, cloud, communications, document-management and information-security providers acting for us;
- laboratories, logistics providers, distributors or other partners needed to assess or fulfil your request;
- auditors, insurers, banks, accountants, lawyers and other professional advisers;
- courts, regulators, customs, tax or law-enforcement authorities when required or permitted by law; or
- a buyer, investor or successor in connection with a proposed or completed corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality controls.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because HETCHYN is based in China and works with international service providers and customers, information may be processed outside your country. In particular, an email you send to HETCHYN will be received and handled in China, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where EU or UK restricted-transfer rules apply, we use a legally available transfer basis appropriate to the circumstances, which may include an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, or a permitted exception for occasional transfers necessary to take steps you request before entering a contract. You may contact us for information about the mechanism relevant to your information.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected. The period depends on whether an inquiry is active, whether sampling or a commercial relationship follows, the shelf life and traceability needs of the relevant product, applicable limitation periods, and tax, accounting, quality, product-safety, export and legal recordkeeping duties. When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymise or securely archive it as appropriate.
We use proportionate organisational and technical measures intended to protect information from accidental loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. These include limiting access according to role and using reputable hosting, email and cloud-service providers. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information by email.
Your privacy rights
EEA and United Kingdom
Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may have rights to be informed, access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure, restrict processing, receive portable data, object to processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights are subject to conditions and exemptions, including legal recordkeeping and the establishment or defence of legal claims.
California and other US states
Where applicable law grants them, you may have rights to know or access the personal information we process, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, and receive equal service when exercising a privacy right. Some states also grant rights to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, or certain profiling. We do not currently conduct those activities through this website, so there is no separate sale or sharing opt-out link.
How to make a request
Email info@hetchyn.com with the subject “Privacy rights request”. Describe the right you wish to exercise and the business relationship or email address involved. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. An authorised agent may submit a request where local law permits, subject to verification. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful reason for refusing or limiting a request.
If you receive a promotional email from us, use its unsubscribe method or contact us. Transactional messages about an inquiry, sample, document request, quotation or order may continue where necessary.
